The gear was put back together using bathroom sealant for the deck fittings so it would be easier to remove them at the end of the year.

Yes there are lots of fenders but we had been moored to a floating skip, well it looked like one. A few days later I had to re-step the mast  As I was on my own at the time I had to step the mast on the water, likely some willing hands came along at the right time.
